Well my wonderful boyfriend and I are going to the youth group Halloween party as Buttercup and Wesley from the Princess Bride (book by S. Morgenstern, movie by William Goldman)! I am so excited! I love that movie and when he turned down the idea of going as part of the Scooby-Doo gang I was a little sad. But then he suggested Wesley and Buttercup and I was overjoyed. He is some kind of wonderful.
PLUS! It was one of our very first dates (watching it in my basement...) and hanging out with him and my little brother. I had so much fun and it's a great memory. At my sixteenth birthday party he grabbed my hand and ran down my very steep driveway yelling, "Your pig fiance is too late!" so the Princess Bride has a hand in our relationship. Yeah. He is my Westley.
"This is true love. Do you think this happens every day?"
"Death cannot stop true love."
"He's only mostly dead."

I am in so much pain from the corn maze last night. Owch. I did a backbend walk thing (like the Grudge if you've ever seen it, or the Exorcist) and when I woke up this morning my back, neck, arms, and legs were in a huge amount of pain. I need to not do that again for a long time, or at least until the circus in spring. So that way I do actual stretches before attempting to nearly kill myself!
The cuts, bruises, scrapes, and awkward gropes were totally worth it last night! The maze was so much fun! I am so glad I got to hang out with my friends and co-workers and enjoy this last hoorah for the Halloween season. I mean, until Halloween that is.
Today I work from noon to seven, then I finally get to come home and....do homework. And more homework....But it's worth it! Then the rest of the week should be smooth sailing, really. I have a dance to practice for dance class along with one from my theater inquiry class (which I will be doing in accompaniment to Christian's monologue). I am so excited for our performance! I love to act and perform. It's my thrill. A lot of people need attention so they gossip or hurt other people in order to get attention, but I'm happy up on a stage. What makes you happiest?

Tonight was the last night of our Haunted Maze at my workplace. I had so much fun hanging out with my friends Serena and Logan. Logan, who I've been friends with for a year now, almost never speaks at ALL. I was happily surprised when he picked up conversations, answered my questions, and SPOKE to me. It really made me feel like he wanted to be my friend again. Serena is a cool cat, so it's really easy to get along with her. We screamed, shouted, creeped on people, and over all had a great time (well at least I did). Serena made me really happy by being such a great friend.
After work, when my big bro Steve was driving me home, he said he was really glad that I had found nice friends who loved God and respected and liked me. I'm pretty glad too!
And in other news, I'm going to gush over my boyfriend momentarily. Our six-monthiversary was yesterday and he bought me the prettiest bouquet of flowers. They were green, blue, and purple daisies with a big chrysanthemum and some baby's breath. Those are my three favorite colors and two of my favorite flowers as well. He got me a big stuffed penguin wearing an adorable bowtie, who I promptly named Siegfried (sig-freed) after the Prince in Swan Lake Ballet. So yes, I am full of happiness right now because everyone I love has decided that they love me back ^_^
I can't wait for school on Monday so I can see all my wonderful friends, hug my boyfriend, and just be full of happiness once again.
