“If you want to talk, take Drama.”
Excuse me? Take Drama? Does Mrs. Truelove even know about how much effort the dramatic arts take? We don't just sit there and talk. It certainly isn't a blow-off class where you don't really partake in anything. Our plays take months of rehearsal, sometimes we don't get enough rehearsal time in and we hone our improvisation skills. We play games to keep our reactions sharp and within the plot.
Take Drama? Lines have to be memorized in two weeks, including cues. Everything is run on a basis of how smart you are and how fast you can react to a situation going downhill. The theatrical arts take skill, talent, focus, and effort. Yes, we do talk a lot. Plays are consistent of mostly lines because you have to know what's happening and you couldn't do that without words. I don't think she understands us, the theater kids. We work extremely hard to put on a good production in not enough time.
Maybe before you say something, you should know what you're talking about.

And that was my one sassy post about being upset at a teacher. Sorry, no disrespect meant, I just hate when people say things they don't totally understand.
